Carlsbad High School Class of 1993- 20 years Reunion- Picnic

This past weekend we had the pleasure of DJing the 20 years reunion of Carlsbad High School Class of 1993.

After a night of dancing at the Sheraton in Carlsbad for the grown-ups, Dawnielle Selden organized a picnic for adults and kids at The Pine Avenue Park in Carlsbad on Sunday July 28^th.

It was a beautiful sunny day. The guests came out to enjoy socializing with their classmates to meet their families and kids.

The entertainment for the day was fun for kids of all ages. 

We had tons of games and music ready to play. Some of the favorite games of the day were the Candy Scramble, the Human Obstacle Race and of course the Water Balloon toss!

The Limbo Contest was a great hit too!

Prizes were given to all the players and no one was left out.  

In the middle of the picnic, the Secret Special Guest showed up for the joy of the adults and the kids: the Current Carlsbad High School Cheerleading Team. They gave us a great show!

We continued with a few dances in the Club Med Style, and Dawnielle Selden showed everyone that she had great skills to entertain a crowd!

After all was said and done it was another awesome picnic and a very fun day!

Carlsbad High School Class of 1993- 20 years Reunion

It’s been 20 years for Carlsbad High School class of ’93  time to reminisce, rekindle friendships & celebrate. We had the privilege to provide the music on July 27th for these graduates. 

The festivities occurred at the Sheraton in Carlsbad

It is always fun to play at a reunion because all the graduates tend to like the same music. Tunes from the years 1993 were featured for the early hours of meet & reminisce with a transition to a variety of genres of music played during dance time. 

With our Djay 4.0  software program & our amazing collection of tunes we were able to easily pull up the big & lesser known hits from 1993.

Special thanks to our initial contact Dawnielle Selden from the class of ’93 for booking us. Check out this medley of classic dance hits which they enjoyed : Dee-Lite “Groove is in the Heart”, Beastie Boys “Brass Monkeys”, Prince “Cream” and so many more tunes from this era.

Jack & Jen's Wedding- Sat, June 29th 2013 @ Chateau Palmier in Fallbrook.

We teamed up with our great friends Pete & Jen Isaacs from PJ Events last Saturday.

They were assigned to work in Fallbrook at a beautiful private estate: Chateau Palmier.
Located on a palm trees plantation, this mansion was so perfect for Jack & Jen.
The theme of the wedding was  vintage-modern inspired: lace, burlap, mason jars and a lot of beautiful flowers!

They were 3 different locations: the Ceremony by the pound, Cocktail Hour by the entrance of the mansion and Reception by the pool/ cascade area to entertain 160 guests.

The location was so huge, so we used all the spaces for 3 sets of equipment!

One of the most touchy moments was the couple dance when remained on the dance floor the grand-parents of the bride celebrating 58 years of marriage!
When Pete asked for their secret, they replied with one voice: P A T I E N C E!!!
Another memorable musical highlight was the garner with 'Danger Zone' from TOP GUN! 

Then was the announcement of Jack's second deployment to Afghanistan with the USMC. All his brothers in arms were here to support his love for his bride and of course jumped in the pool at the end of the celebration.

What a beautiful night!
