Charlotte & Ben's Wedding- The Ranch at Bandy Canyon- Escondido-08-17-13

Charlotte & Ben are an amazing & beautiful couple!

We met Charlotte 5 years ago at the after party of our own wedding and she became a friend.
When we met Ben, we immediately loved his personality and developed a strong bond with this talented Chef.

Charlotte was born in Marseille, in the South of France and Ben in New York.

For their Big Day they had planned a French-Rustic wedding in the country side.

The Ranch at Bandy Canyon was the perfect location to celebrate their love.
Hidden in the Escondido canyon, this venue is incredible. It is an oasis on 144 acres in the San Pasquale Valley. Gaby, the Special Events manager was very professional and helpful.

The event was planned by Diana Baer Lasus and her 2 assistants from A Wedding by Di, she did a great job orchestrating this wedding in a very smooth manner.

For the food part of the wedding, as Ben is a great Chef ( Yeah! This girl is so smart, she married a Chef!), he made a point to hire one of the best caterer of San Diego with an amazing husband/ wife team, Kim & Sam Benham from the Toast Catering. Their food was fantastic!

To immortalize this very special day, they choose another husband/ wife team with Ressull Salvi Photography  creators of creators of The Smileybooth a Stop-Motion Photobooth, a very fun way to remember any wedding or event.Great people too!

We were truly looking forward to spinning at this wedding celebration.

We provided Ceremony, Cocktail and Reception sound for their wedding celebration.

The request from Charlotte was to incorporate some French music during cocktail hour and dinner, mixed with some modern songs like MGMT, Sublime, Billy Joel, Mumford & Sons. etc…

We catered the energy for the reception from the very start.  The family and friends in attendance from France, London, New York, Florida, Boston, Washington State and California were ready to party and that’s what we gave them.

We opened the dance floor with a special choreography made by all the little French cousins (Age 3-10 years old) dancing to Gangnam style, and then, they invited all the guests to join them! That was one of the special musical highlights of the night.

From the very first song, Charlotte & Ben’s guest were on that dance floor and did not want to leave! We played a wide range of music from Motown, Classic Rock, Disco, R&B/Rap & Top 40, some French touch with David Guetta, Daft Punk, Air, Phoenix and a special Bob Sinclar’s jam for Leslie, sister of the bride and beautiful Maid of Honor!

Thank you Charlotte & Ben for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day! We wish you a long life of love and happiness together! We love you!

Tamara & Nathan- Wedding at the Blenheim Farms- Peppertree Estate- San Juan Capistrano- 08-10-13

We assisted our friends Pete & Jen Isaacs from http://www.pjevents.com/ in the set-up and logistics of Tamara & Nathan's wedding last Saturday in San Juan Capistrano.

Stretching over 17.92 acres in San Juan Capistrano, the Blenheim Farms or "Pepper Tree Estate" is a beautiful and huge location dedicated to horse riding.

The property hosted the 2000, 2004 and 2008 U.S. Olympic Equestrian Selection Trials and various horse shows and competitions.

As the venue is the really large, they needed us to set-up and bring our expertise (and arms!) and honestly the 4 of us were busy all night long!

We used a set of equipment for the ceremony located on the polo field, and another set for cocktail hour and the dancefloor.
And we probably unrolled 1/2 mile of power cords....

Our Friends Pete & Jen provided music for the pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing.

The Ceremony music was live and played by a talented guitarist.

One of the musical highlight of the wedding was the bouquet toss: Jen spinned "Blurred Lines" the summer hit from Robin Thicke ((feat. T.I. & Pharrell Williams) and everybody got up and started to groove: Hey, hey, hey....

That was an amazing wedding in San Juan Capistrano. A beautiful setting for an amazing couple!

We are once again reminded of how blessed we are to be able to witness and record these monumental events.

Congrats again Tamara & Nathan!

Meaghan & Nate Wedding Reception The Darlington House. La Jolla. 08-09-2013

This Week’s Glasz Productions blog features Nate & Meaghan’s Wedding Reception.

Meaghan & Nate held their Wedding Reception at theDarlington House in La Jolla last weekend.

Not only this La Jolla’s location is a beautiful venue, it’s also a non-profit public benefit corporation.
Its mission is to provide housing and meal support to seniors who have lived and worked in the San Diego area. So when you book an event or a wedding you also help a great cause!

The Darlington House is a terrific setting for an intimate wedding.

Meaghan & Nate is a great couple who had in mind to host a classy gathering for family & friends, the same way they would host a party at their house.

The main idea  was to have an entire and natural flow for the Celebration.

After having the Ceremony at The Mary Star of the Sea’ Church in La Jolla, all the wedding party walked to the Darlington House.

The newlyweds welcomed and greeted all their guests individually at the door.

The ambiance for Cocktail Hour was a classy set of jazz music, without lyrics, including Dizzie Gillepsie, Miles Davis , the Thelonious Monk and  many others.

For the dinner, our Bride & Groom wanted a more classic selections of love songs from Frank Sinatra, Fleetwood Mac, Rod Stewart, The Beatles and Aretha Franklin etc...

The last song of this beautiful classy wedding was “We are family” from Sister Sledge. That was a beautiful touch for all the family and friends who came to celebrate Meaghan & Nate’s love.

It was an awesome day and we wish Meaghan & Nate all the happiness in the world.
