Brian & Kelly's Spontaneous and Casual Wedding. The Peppertree Estates- San Juan Capistrano- 091413

We are so happy to have been a part of Brian & Jenny’s lovely wedding at The Peppertree Estates in San Juan Capistrano this past Saturday!

The wedding was orchestrated by Adina from The Event Loft and she did, as usual, an amazing job.

We partnered up with Pete & Jason from PJ Events.

Brian & Jenny were the perfect Bride and Groom. Their good looks only highlight their awesome personalities inside, and it showed all night long.

Cocktail hour was before the Ceremony and definitely gave a relaxed atmosphere for their guests in the Rose Garden.
Their choice of music was a mix from Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Fleetwood Mac, Van Morrison to the Clash.

The Ceremony followed at 6:30pm and was very emotional. Their nephews Brian & Mitchell began playing the guitar as a prelude for the Ceremony.

Then all the guests joined the Villa Garden for a casual dinner.

The newlyweds introduction was immediately followed by their first dance, where their movements melted together as they glided together through the center of the floor to “Lay Lady Lay” by Magnet. (Mr. & Mrs. Smith Soundtrack- Brian & Jenny are Mr. & Mrs Smith!). The father/daughter dance followed immediately with a very special song “Take it easy” by The Eagles.

And then, we opened the dancefloor.

Brian, Jenny and their guests danced to the end of this beautiful evening.

It was an incredibly beautiful wedding.

We would like to give a special congratulations to the newlyweds, Brian & Jenny, wishing you both the best in your marriage, and a life of success and happiness together.

Also we would like to give a shout out to Adina and her crew from The Event Loft for being able to help pull together such a fabulous event for these two on their wedding night.

Stay Glaszy!

Matt & Kelly’s EDM Wedding- The Marvimon House-Los Angeles-09/07/2013

Matt & Kelly met on  the French Riviera when attending Matt’s best friend wedding 3 years ago, so already we had a great connection there with them! ;-)

When we had our meeting with Kelly and Matt, they told us we wanted to feel like we were at a club at their wedding. That was music to our ears because at that point we knew that they wanted to party.

The wedding was held at The Marvimon House in downtown Los Angeles which is  a great place to work.
Joe Peeler, the Venue Manager, was awesome, present all night long and very available to the vendors and the guests.

We worked  also with  Jocelyn Garrity from Tact Events, she was the Day-Of-Wedding Coordinator and really professional and helpful with us.

The mood for the evening was already set at the Ceremony with Seth, Matt’s best friend from UCSD( the fellow who got married in France), he was the officiant for this special day and he did awesome! We knew that these people were ready to PARTY!

For the cocktail hour, we mixed a lot of classic songs like Franck Sinatra, Dean Martin, Buena Vista Social Club, Michael Jackson (We found an amazing spanish guitar cover of Liberian Girl!) and as Kelly is A big Fan of Michael we played a few songs throughout the night.
We also mixed jams from Phoenix, Rihanna, John Legend, the new J.T'songs and the new Drake'song "Hold On we are going home". These are just a few songs we played.

For dinner we had some classics again like Tony Bennett& Amy Winehouse together, Al Green, Bob Marley, DMB, Queen, Stevie Wonder and progressively brought our guests to the dancefloor with Imagine Dragons, Terraplane Sun, Mumford & Sons, CCR,Donovan Frankenreiter & Daft Punk and some upbeats songs.

After Introductions we played about 15 minutes of oldies for the parents, then basically turn up the dance music till the end as per Matt & Kelly’s request.

The Bride and Groom love EDM Music which stands for Electronic Dance Music.
With artists  like David Guetta, Martin Solveig, Zedd, Tiesto, Bob Sinclar, Aviici and Daft Punk, the dance floor was packed all night long. We also dropped some hip hop at some point. The energy was so high, it was so great to see the dancefloor so crowded!

We had an amazing time!

Matt & Kelly, we wish you a lifetime of Joy and Happiness!

We really enjoyed being part of your Special Day, you are truly Awesome!

Party of the week: Chris’ BDay Party and 34th years anniversary with her husband Sal

We had the pleasure to travel last Saturday to Anaheim Hills to celebrate Chris’ birthday and also her 34th wedding anniversary with her great husband Sal!

Chris & Sal are famous all over Southern California for throwing the best parties EVER!

So it’s very naturally that they had a Casino Theme with Craps and Blackjack tables in a full Vegas Way! They hired Black Tie Events  and its great team of dealers.

There is no denying this party was lavish, exciting, and full of surprises.

Chris is a special woman, as is her husband Sal.
We are so grateful to have been part of their wonderful night of celebration with more than one hundred and twenty guests ! To allow everybody to play Craps and Black Jack, we had to give a color name tag to all their guests, and I was assigned to the meets & greets. I loved to welcome their family and friends, that definitely set the mood for a great celebration.

At this Birthday Party, there was a musical focus on standards to set-up the mood for the guest arrival and we decided to progressively build up the beat to start the dancefloor with some Classic Rock (Peter Frampton, Sammy Hagar & Rod Stewart, the Beatles and Rolling Stones) & Dance Music for the dance floor from Upside Down to Blurred Lines.

To entertain their guests, we had some trivias about Chris’ life! We learnt about her love for Vegas & how Del Taco played a major role in her life!!!Donna, her bestie, knew all the answers!

We gave a special Award for the Best Dancer of the night to Helen, Sal’s mom, 83 years young, as she danced like a trained professional till the end of the night.

One of the highlight of the night was Sal Jr. Performance. Sal Jr is a very talented guitarist and offered a concert to his parents, their family & friends. It was a very special and touching moment.

We have to mention the awesome catering team from Jay’s Catering from Garden Grove. The food presentation was stunning and delicious, and the staff very professional.
They created a stunning Tiffany &Co Cake and Chris blew out the candles with the “Birthday” song from the Beatles.

As Ryan & I were in full wedding mode after DJIng/ Emceeing 3 weddings in 8 days, we suggested them to have a cake cutting, a first dance and a bouquet toss to celebrate their 34th wedding anniversary!

It was a big hit, we played Al Green “Let’s Stay Together” for Chris & Sal and then, Chris’ Dad had also the opportunity to dance with his daughter, as 34 years ago, with his daughter! That was a beautiful moment.

As we heard “Bad Girls” from Donna Summer, all the “Single Ladies” knew it was their moment to try to catch the bouquet! It looked like a Mosh Pit at a Sammy Hagar concert!

We hope the winner will choose us to DJ her upcoming wedding LOL!

A special thanks to Austen, the special guest of the night, who passed his 8pm bedtime and hung out for the special night.
Austen, Chris & Sal’ grandson is the cutest baby around and brought a lot of joy and happiness with his smiles and flirty personality!

Chris & Sal, thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your awesome birthday and anniversary party.
It was an honor to be there for your celebrations.
