Ebony & Kelly- The Darlington House- La Jolla- 9.20.14

We had the great pleasure to be the entertainment for Kelly and Ebony's wedding at the Darlington House in La Jolla last Saturday.

The beautiful Bridal Party before the Ceremony, and the coolest Ring Bearer ever!

Kelly and Ebony love to dance, they wanted the music to be energetic all along the night.

Ebony and Kelly looked so happy after the Ceremony

After a beautiful ceremony held in the Rose Garden, their guests were invited to join Cocktail Hour in the Egyptian Patio.

For cocktail hour, we decided to set the tone with some tunes like the new Michael Jackson- Justin Timberlake " Love never felt so good", the infamous "All about that bass" from Meghan Trainor,
"F For You' from Disclosure & Mary J. Blidge, "Somebody Loves You" by Betty Who, "Love Foolosophy" by Jamiroqai.

Cocktail Hour in the Egyptian Patio

For the reception, the The Abbey Catering and Events Co. flipped the Rose garden to transform into a beautiful reception area.
The wedding was orchestrated by the talented and fabulous Petr Trebin.

Again for dinner, we decided to play some upbeat songs, and before dinner was served, the fathers of the brides started the dancefloor, followed by a lot of the guests.
Before dinner...

Then, for their grand entrance our two beautiful brides choose "Memories" by Guetta, followed by their first dance "All of Me" by John Legend.

For dinner we played Adele "Rolling In The Deep", "Fallin'" by Alicia Keys- Ebony' sisters and her dad started singing, we also played Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis "Same Love", we have to say that we support same sex marriage, it was a beautiful moment, Nikki, Kelly's Maid of Honor, opened the dancefloor with her wife, and some other guests followed them.

The cutest cake toppings

Then, our goal for the rest of the night was to have a packed dancefloor and to have Ebony, Kelly & their guests dancing all night long. Mission Accomplished!

It was such a Beautiful Celebration of Ebony & Kelly's Love.

We are so Proud & Happy that they choose us for their special day!

We are wishing Ebony and Kelly a long life of Joy and Happiness together.

Jackie & Cliff- The Bali Hai Restaurant- San Diego- 9.12.14

We had the great pleasure to be the DJs this past Saturday for Cliff and Jackie's wedding at the Bali Hai.

The landmark restaurant, located on the northern tip of Shelter Island, is a chic, sleek Polynesian paradise opened in 1955 .
Bali Hai was the island’s first “tiki temple,” named after the song popularized by the musical “South Pacific,” and remains one of the largest remaining original tiki temples.

Their Grand Entrance was spectacular.
As all their guests were enjoying the beautiful view at sunset, Jackie, Cliff and their bridal party arrived on a yacht! Talking about "Glasz".......

Our bride and groom looked stunning and so happy!

Cliff and Jackie wanted a loungy vibe for cocktail hour and dinner, so we decided to play some upbeat music to entertain their guests, so we have a full dancefloor right after their first dance. For sure it was a hot night but that didn't discouraged anybody to dance all night long.

To close this beautiful celebration, Cliff and Jackie got send off in the same way they arrived, the yacht was waiting for them to take them to this new journey of a lifetime.

We truly enjoyed working for these two love birds and are wishing them a beautiful life together!

Congratz to Cliff and Jackie!

Corie & Michael- The New Children's Museum- San Diego- 09-6-14

We had the great pleasure to be part of Corie and Michael's Wedding last Saturday at the New Children Museum in Downtown San Diego.

The New Children’s Museum was created by world renowned architect, Rob Wellington Quigley.

It's one of the first green museums in California and has received numerous architectural awards.

The choice of the venue was partly because Michael is an architect and really loved the concept.
The dynamic  and green space was perfect for children to enjoy, and also the adults!

The ceremony was held right across from the museum on the playground.

Corie & Michael love art, so they hired a mural artist to design their names with chalk.

Then, family and friends gathered on the outside patio for cocktail hour, the reception was held inside the New Children Museum.

Aaron, the brother of the bride, and a confirmed musician, played the processionals for the ceremony.
That was such a touching moment. Corie was stunning when she walked down the isle with her proud father.

Corie and Michael had 175 guests, and this venue was perfect to accommodate everybody, especially the kids who could enjoy all the fun activities.

For cocktail hour and dinner, we played a mix between old Motown like Otis Redding, to newer tunes like Alabama Shakes, Vance Joy or Ben Howard.

We had such an amazing time, Corie, Michael and their guests danced the night away!

The wedding was orchestrated by the Fantastic Petr Trebin from the Abbey Catering and Event Design.

Congratulations Corie and Michael!
Your Wedding was very special to us!
We are wishing you the best for this new journey together!
