Melissa & Jay- Del Mar Powerhouse- Sunday, February 15th 2015

It was our great pleasure to entertain Jay and Melissa's wedding last Sunday.

From the ceremony music all the way through the end of the night, we helped brought their vision to light & set the mood for an epic evening!

For their very special day they had chosen the Del Mar Powerhouse Community Center located on the beach.
Melissa, as a child, had spent all the family weekends on this very special beach.

It was a very SoCal beach wedding, from the colors, to the shells and the names tables, all the details were very San Diegans.

Jay requested  a lot of Reggae to be played during Cocktail Hour: Bob Marley, Richie Spice,
Luciano, Collie Budz, Beres Hammond to quote a few, we mixed some Hawaiian tunes, with some Jack Johnson. It was just perfect for a very "Beachy" Cocktail Hour.

After the Grand Entrance, their friend Johnny Huang played their first dance.
Live music is always a treat, especially when it's played from one your closest friend.

After some awesome food from El Indio Restaurant, Melissa, Jay and their guests were ready to hit the dancefloor!

Brenda Swann from Swann Soirees did an amazing job as usual orchestrating the wedding.

We had an amazing time!

We are wishing Melissa and Jay a long life of Love and Happiness!

Opening: 'Don't Try This At Home" Exhibition & "Humpback Whales" Movie Premiere- Reuben H. Fleet Science Museum- Balboa Park- Tue February 10th 2015

We were at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center for the  VIP Media Party fof their new exhibit  'Don't Try This At Home" and the Premiere of "Humpback Whales" a new movie produced by Macgillivray Freemanfilms

The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center features more than 100 interactive science exhibits in eight galleries, as well as major traveling exhibitions.

The Fleet is also home to the world’s first IMAX Dome Theater, presenting the biggest films on the planet. Its unique configuration wraps the audience in images and provides the illusion of being suspended in space.

It was a fun night for the Media in San Diego.

They opened the night with a demonstration of fun experiences involving nitrogen...and toilet paper!

Steve Snyder- CEO of the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center

We played during Cocktail Hour and then the guest were invited to join the IMAX Dome Theater- the first ever in the world- to watch the movie.

Narrated by two-time Golden Globe® nominee Ewan McGregor, Humpback Whales is an extraordinary journey into the mysterious world of one of nature’s most awe-inspiring marine mammals. Set in the spectacular waters of Alaska, Hawaii and the remote islands of Tonga, this ocean adventure offers audiences an up-close look at how these whales communicate, sing, feed, play and take care of their young.

It's always fun for us to work at the Fleet! Thanks to Savannah, Beth & all the staff for their warm welcome!
