Last Saturday, we celebrated Jenan & Roland's wedding at the Martin Johnson House in La Jolla.
It was such a picture perfect day!
Blue skies, warm sun and the scenic view of the Pacific Ocean along the La Jolla Coast!

When we first met Roland and Jenan, we liked them immediately. Roland is from Berlin- Germany and Jenan from Madison- Wisconsin.
We love international love stories because we can relate! ;-)
For their very special day, they choose Brenda at Swann Soirees to plan and orchestrate their wedding.
The Ceremony music was played by Caprice Strings.
Our bride Jenan was stunning, and her father couldn't have been much proud to walk her down the isle.
It's always a very special moment when the groom sees his bride for the first time!

The ceremony was full of meanings and emotions: a prayer from the Quran, an English and a German poem were read. It was such a beautiful touch to express in 3 different languages Love.
They also had a sand ceremony.

For cocktail hour, our two lovebirds wanted some Electro music: Cut Copy, Daft Punk, a Justice remix &Phoenix were on our playlists.
For dinner, we started with a more classic tone and turned it up half way to go back to electronic music.
Jenan's family is originally from Palestine and Lebanon, and it was very important to express some traditions like the Dabke.
The Dabke is an Arab folk circle dance traditionally played at weddings.
Jenan & Roland made a big impression for their grand entrance with a special song sent by her father himself, they he joined our newlyweds on the dancefloor.
We love to incorporate family & international traditions at weddings!

The dancefloor was packed all night with tunes like Magic System, Khaled, Nena and a lot of pop and dancing music- and of course electro!!!
This part of the night was amazing! The mix of music genres was just perfect!
