Lauren & Matthew- The Cuvier Club- La Jolla- 4.25.15

We were thrilled to be part of Lauren and Matthew's wedding last Saturday.

We first met Lauren and Matthew in July of last year, and we loved them instantly along with Lauren's parents: Dr Ron and Dr Mary!
We thought they were very well adjusted!
Of course they are all Chiropractors!

For their ceremony, Lauren and Matt had choose the romantic seaside coast of La Jolla. The wedding bowl is such a romantic and gorgeous set-up for a La Jolla Wedding.

Pre-Ceremony music was played by  Andy Mauser, a talented guitarist and singer from Pacific Beach. We played the processionals and recessional for our lovely couple and their family.
Andy played for the cocktail hour at the Cuvier Club as well,

Then, our newlyweds and their guests headed to the Cuvier Club for the Reception.

The wedding was orchestrated by our friend from the Abbey Catering and Event Design Petr Trebin! It's always our pleasure to work with Petr, as he's so meticulous and fun!

After a very energetic Grand Entrance (Jump Around for the Bridal Party & Party Rock Anthem for our newlyweds) we played Lauren and Matt's first dance: Love is a Verb by John Mayer.

The wedding dinner begins with a blessing over the challah done by the grand father of our gorgeous bride.

We had a tremendous surprise for the Father- Daughter Dance: Lauren and her dad Ron, offered a live show to their guests : they tricked their guests by starting with a slow song, and then BOOM: a medley of the Bee Gees, Michael Jackson and much more, everybody was speechless.
That was for sure one the highlights of the night, they worked so hard on it, it was just perfect!

We had a full dancefloor all night long! Our doctors showed us that they could dance and bend-chiropractor joke!😉

That was a great wedding with a lot of good looking people!

Jessica & Clint- The Martin Johnson House- La Jolla- 4.11.15

We had the great pleasure to be the entertainment for Jessica and Clint's Wedding Reception at the Martin Johnson House this past Saturday.

They couldn't have chosen a better day.
San Diego was its best for our two love birds and their guests.

Words cannot describe Jessica and Clint's wedding. But you can sum it all up with three words.. Elegant, Detailed and Tasteful.

This was an amazing event and we were honored to be a part of this very special night.
The vibe at their wedding was amazing from the beginning to the last song of the night

They choose Brenda Swann from Swann Soirees to coordinate their nuptials.

The ceremony was officiated by Chaplain Mary Cyr from Vows From The Heart Ministries.

For their ceremony and cocktail hour, they choose the TRIO VALENZUELA to play live music.

The bride and groom's involvement was incredible, from the dinner to the last song of the night, they knew exactly the style of music and vibes they want for their wedding.

Beside working in the music industry, Clint is a very talented and humble musician.
He surprised his beautiful bride with a song specially written and recorded for their very first dance as husband and wife. Jessica was in tears. It was just beautiful.

Some of their music choices include:
- Lionel Richie "All Night Long"
- Police " Every Little Thing She Does is Magic"
- Bonnie Tyler " Total Eclipse of The Heart" - we played it during Sunset!

The bride and groom were an absolute pleasure to work with and you could see the love in their eyes whenever they looked at each other. The entire wedding was a wonderful affair, and their guests and newlyweds dance the night away to an unforgettable night.

We are wishing Jessica and Clint a Long Life of Joy and Happiness Together!

Go Green!
Go White!

Lisa & Kyle- San Diego Museum of Art- Balboa Park- Saturday March 28th 2015

On Saturday March 28th 2015 we were honored to be a part of the wedding of Lisa and Kyle at the beautiful and exclusive San DiegoMuseum of Art. The glorious spring day was perfect for exchanging vows in an outdoor wedding ceremony in The Mary S. Marcy Sculpture Court and Garden.

Amy Lynn Kanner, a well renown harpist in Southern California, preformed many songs requested by the bride and groom
The outdoor ceremony was magical with views that included the beautiful California Tower and Building.  These iconic structures have been here since they were constructed for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition. The tower and its ringing bells added to the festive atmosphere.

For the cocktail hour, the guests headed to the iconic Rotunda inside the Museum.

Since our first meeting, Lisa and Kyle have this vision to appear on top of the Rotunda’stairs for their grand entrance. Preceded by one of the largest bridal party we’ve ever seen- 20 people total- Kyle & Lisa made their Grand Entrance to 'Let Me Clear My Throat' Rapper DJ Kool- the edited version of course ;-) and then followed their first dance in the middle of the Grand Staircase.

Following cocktail hour, the May S. Marcy Court was ready for a beautiful reception, complete with a night of dancing. We kept the guests dancing all night with top 40 hits and more!

Christine Ong , Lead Wedding Planner @ Lavish Weddings partnered with Lex Wayning from the Abbey Catering and Events Design to showcase an outstanding wedding event.

We were very impressed with the professional and helpful staff during the entire day; especially with 3 different set-ups throughout the night! A special thanks to Andy Christensen- the SDMA Events Manager- who was very helpful as well through the night!

Every aspect of this wedding created a night to remember!

We wish the bride and groom the best of luck and appreciate the opportunity to work with such a lovely group of people!
